Balance, Courage and Determination

I own a couple of sets of Oracle Cards, a couple of packs of Tarot cards, a set of Celtic Tree Oracle or Ogham cards, and a set of Astrology Cards that come with their own astrology wheel.

I can’t really read any of them, being honest. I’ve started to learn the Tarot, but I’m a long way off becoming any kind of good reader. I know we have to be intuitive when using the cards, but I’m still learning the actual meanings of the cards!

I’m pretty much OK with the Major Arcana, but haven’t even started with the other cards. I suppose I could start reading just with the major cards, but feel as though I’ll be missing part of the story… sometimes it’s the little things that matter.

Yesterday, as I was typing away at my keyboard, effectively and efficiently as usual (!), a CD that I use to transfer the sketches and doodles I do from one computer to another suddenly leapt off the top of my PC’s tower. It took with it a slip of paper and, I noticed, something else.

Well, three somethings, to be exact.

Three Oracle Cards.

Now, to start off with, it was odd for the CD to leap the way it did. Yes, I’m next to the computer as I type, but the surface is flat. It doesn’t lean, so really nothing should have moved from the top of it.

It could have been Dot, my friendly ghost who calls in every now and again, but this isn’t her style. Dot likes to play with my electricals, like the music system for instance. She does like the CD drawer in the computer, however, so I’m not discounting her completely.

But, the three Oracle Cards that leapt with the CD were:

Balance – Courage – Determination
BALANCE – It’s important to have balance in your life.
COURAGE – It only takes a little bit of courage to change.
DETERMINATION – Never, ever give up.

I’ve put them in alphabetical order for this post, they didn’t fall that way, which would be just a little too coincidental.

But the message from the three cards is very clear, is it not?
