I’m wandering through Lushland again… the Paradise of my mind’s eye. There’s not much light left now, the Sun’s just set, but luckily the Moon is casting her magical glow all over.
The babbling brook is babbling loudly over there – just beyond that tree – as it makes its way on its never ending journey, stopping briefly under the Bridge of Wishes to pick up any wishes that may have been left there by passers by. Where it takes the wishes nobody currently knows, although it is said they may be left on specially shaped and coloured pebbles, waiting to be discovered and used again by other passers by. Or maybe that’s where the good ideas come from. Wishes… ideas… quite similar really, if you think about it.
I’ll follow the babbling brook shortly. It leads back to the Grinds, and therefore the Mansion.
When I say follow, it won’t be on foot, obviously. No, I’ll fly! I can do that rather well in my mind’s eye, if I do say so myself. Well, I think I can. I can fly when I dream, so I should be able to do so here as well. We’ll see.
Not yet though. I’ll just sit here and watch the Moonrise through this clearing, and Feel Good about it! I’m sure I can hear music; maybe it’s just the water and my mind is playing tricks on me. I can’t really see that happening though, not here in this Paradise.
