One Minute Ramble: The Invisible Magicians of the Universe

There’s a fine line between knowing what we want and what we don’t want, all things considered.

Universally speaking, they are all the same thing anyway… we attract what we are giving our attention to, whether we want it or not. Just saying I don’t want XXXX is just like saying I want XXXX, from the viewpoint of the Invisible Magicians of the Universe, who bring to us exactly what they think we are asking for… or rather what we are focussing on. They don’t bother with wants and don’t wants, and instead bother with the item our attention is pointing them towards.

So, my Inner Invisible Magician of the Universe is urging me to not even consider the things I don’t want… as soon as I say to myself I don’t want this – I have to immediately look towards something I do want instead… or something I like… or something I feel I need… or something I am grateful for… or something that would improve things for me… and everyone else – but how do I know what everyone else wants? If I knew that, I’d be Freshly Pressed every week, and have a gazillion blog visits a day. Which, is actually what I don’t want, and already I’ve come full circle! Sigh. It can be a bit of a task, this thinking clearly. I’m sure my Inner Invisible Magician of the Universe is rolling his eyes at me.

I’m a firm believer in the power of coincidence, and we can bring everything to us if we send the right signals out. I asked to see a multi-coloured feather the other day to see if the Universe was listening to me. Did you see Google’s Doodle the other day? Multi-coloured feathers. Not at all what I was expecting, but there it was. And I never asked Google to publish the doodle, nor did I state my request anywhere on line. In fact, I never spoke it aloud – I merely thought it. See… coincidence. Creative coincidence.

Think of one thing that you would love for your Inner Invisible Magician of the Universe to bring to you… and see how long it takes for it to turn up. You may be surprised.

Oh, and think whilst feeling good… it works better that way!

Thanks, Sue… I’m not quite back to fully blogging yet, but I’m more in than out at the moment!
Yes, we bring about what we think about… it’s just knowing what we are thinking about that’s the tricky bit!
Hope you have a good Wednesday, Sue.

Tom. I am also a firm believer in signs. If we want it badly enough, we can make it so.

We can indeed, Andra. Sometimes we need to take appropriate action for us to get what it is we are looking for… and that is where the signs really start to come in!

I am this very minute trying hard not to think of what I don’t want..and concentrating even harder on what I do.. Sir Aquatom, easier said than done methinks… mind has gone a complete blank, … 🙂 but I do like the thought of creative coincidence, gives one a feeling of positivity. xPenx

You’re welcome, Lady P… although I did have a slight inkling!
I like being a source of inspiration every now and then!
Sometimes, one site leads to another… and hours have gone by… I’m more determined to sleep nowadays though, so it doesn’t happen to me as much now…

It takes a little practice, Lady P, and it needs to be kept up, but it can be done!
Creating your own coincidences is a fabulous pastime… and you feel really good when you realise that you’ve created one!

Read ‘Illusions – The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah’ by Richard Bach, it is well worth the effort! 🙂

Synchronicity my friend….Coincidence says it happened out of the blue, but it is always a planned appearance…Think only good things lest you get the bad thoughts coming your way. I hope the world begins to fully grasp the power our thoughts have! We could change the world a whole lot quicker 🙂 Be well and stay synchronized….VK

So very true, Tom! In competitive sport psychology, we always concentrate on framing our self-talk in positive ways: For example, if I’m at full draw in archery, I never think “Don’t flinch”; I think “Smooth shot, stable follow-through”. Our subconscious doesn’t understand negatives, so instead of “Don’t flinch”, it hears “Flinch!” And we do, spoiling the shot.

Wishing you all the joy of positive thoughts and multi-coloured feathers! 🙂

True indeed, Diane… there are examples everywhere, your archery and Steve’s motorcycling are other examples that lots of people use! We do it with a lot of things without even realising – it’s easy really! 😀
I must admit that I liked the feathers!

And, in motorcycling, it’s known as target fixation – your motorcycle will automatically follow your eyes towards wherever you focus. So, look where you want to go and not at the obstacle you want to avoid.

      Exactly, Steve… another great example!
Hello, and welcome by the way! I’m a bit behind with blogging at the moment, and not here as much as I’d like to be either, which is putting me further behind, but I’m slowly getting back to normal. Thanks for the follow, as well, which seems like years ago now! 😉

Hello! I’m back from another hiatus and I think you might be off on a break now? I loved this post and I really should try it too! The thing for me to remember is NOT to go announcing it to everyone! (what I want or am focusing on…of course)..Thanks for the post Tom…it’s a good reminder that we all carry our inner magician with us 🙂
