Spudley sits high on her vantage point, guarding her territory and ready to pounce… 
While the rains continue to fall, with raindrops so heavy they certainly bounce…
Even the ducks head for shelter beneath bushes and trees, to keep dry from the rain…
And Spudley looks skyward, with a look that says “Wewwo, more of the same”…
She heads back to her rooftop, to watch the dark day draw to a close…
Will it be the same tomorrow? I wonder if she knows…
