The Wolf Moon… Inspiration

Here in Aqualand – which is a little like Lalaland only slightly more surreal – we have the Wolf Moon in February. Many people describe the Full Moon in January as the Wolf Moon, and the February one as the Snow Moon or the Hunger Moon. Well, in Aqualand we tend not to have that much snow (although on occasions we do…) in either month, so the name the Snow Moon doesn’t seem to ring true. As a result of this, last year, I declared that the February Full Moon to be the Wolf Moon, and named her Luna Lupa.

The post I have just linked to is the most visited post on my blog. It describes using the power of the Full Moon to project our Cosmic Orders (or wishes, if you like) through a magical channel (the Moon) and out into the Universe, for the Universe to work its magic and return our request back to us at the most appropriate time. It’s only a short post, and also mentions choices, new beginnings and solutions. I think most people visit the post just for the borrowed image I have on there, but if one or two stop and read the words, and think about the magic associated with the Moon, they may think long enough about the possibility of Cosmic Ordering, and the ‘what if I give it a go and it really happens’ frame of thought. To this, I’d say try it and see. Remember the Law of Attraction is at work with Cosmic Ordering; what we think about we receive – doubt the outcome and the Universe will bring more reasons for doubt. Believe in the outcome and the Universe will bring more reasons to believe. Cosmic Ordering really does work when you think and believe that it does.

So, the previous post explained a little about the magical side of the Universe and introduced Aqualand’s Luna Lupa to the world.

It was Luna Lupa’s day to shine again yesterday. I was so caught up in trying to write something, anything, for my blog I completely missed the day. I saw the Moon this evening, and realised how bright and full she looked, and suddenly thought that it may be the night of the Full Moon tonight, but no – it was yesterday.

The Moon still looks magnificent today. Silver and resplendent, with a cool white aura spookified with wispy light and dark clouds. The kind of Moon that causes wolves to react. To howl as if in celebration of the power that the Full Moon grants to them as they hunt and play all night long. The Moon of legendary tales of werewolves, where ‘ordinary’ folk, as a result of a bite or a curse or a spell, are transformed into a wolf-like creature once a month and cause panic amongst other ‘ordinary’ folk. The Moon that provides, and has for centuries provided, inspiration for poems, stories and songs.

I find it odd that on the night of the February Full Moon, the night of my Luna Lupa, when she was shining brightly in the darkened sky, I wrote a post on the darkness, and not the light.

The Moon is extremely inspiring, and maybe in my missing of her inspiring light, she is even more so this time. We can only be inspired when we notice something. If I can miss something as special as the Full Moon (‘my’ Full Moon at that!), what else am I missing?

Going back to the Law of Attraction again, yesterday, I concentrated on nothing, and couldn’t find anything to write about. My post ended up being another of my posts on nothing. Had I looked for something inspiring, I’d have probably found the Moon… the stars… the sky… There’s a saying that says the sky’s the limit, but I don’t see that as entirely true. With inspiration, and imagination, the sky is only the beginning…

Tom, the wolf moon is inspiring. I studied it for a while last night.

The Wolf Moon has quite a few stories about it, if I remember correctly, Andra, but I think the Moon is inspiring in itself!

Sounds good to me Tom!!! 🙂

Hope things are warming up for you – it’s bloody cold here and the ice makes any trip out into the big wide world rather tricky!!! 🙂

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

I’d love to say that things are warming up, Prenin, but it’s the opposite. Well, it feels that way anyway!!! The ice actually makes the tripping easier, but the getting up afterwards is harder to do (sorry, couldn’t resist a little slipping joke there!) 😀

It sounds wild and mysterious, doesn’t it, Susan? I actually think the October Full Moon would be a better one for the Wolf Moon, with links to Halloween, but being in February (or January) is fine with me!

The moon has been enchanting recently: one day it rose huge and orange over my town. As to cosmic ordering, there is a very similar concept at the far reaches of nuclear physics I believe…

I like the orange Moons, Kate, they are enchanting.
Are you referring to Quantum Physics with the far reaches of nuclear physics? Because that is basically all that Cosmic Ordering is (all it is… sounds so simple) thoughts and things. I haven’t the foggiest idea about Quantum Physics apart from it deals with energy and matter, but I have experience of Cosmic Ordering. Thoughts being the energy and the thing being the matter. The jiggery and pokery in the middle is the Universe’s bit, the Quantum bit.
