The path that runs through the Grinds by the East Wing of the Mansion eventually reaches the Lake, where the Peacocks, Vampire Sheep, Sinister Bunny and other creatures dwell.
I was over that side of the Mansion the other lunchtime and happened to glance out of the window, and caught sight of these two fine creatures who were staring into the window, trance-like.
It isn’t unusual at this time of the year for creatures such as these to appear – the dragons have been here for a few weeks now – but it is unusual for them to be here in the daytime. And for them to be so close to the Mansion, for that matter.
Looks like they may be starting partying a little earlier than usual, then… I’d better get myself some earplugs. They make a terrible racket when they get going…
