One Week Early

According to my Moon Phase Calculator, the next Full Moon is scheduled to be here next Sunday, 16th March.

I’ve just looked out into the Grinds, and it looks as though the Full Moon has arrived early this time.

That, or I’ve walked out into the Grinds a week from today.

With the tricks that this Mansion likes to play, I’m guessing it’s the latter, and the Mansion has shunted me forward in time by one week. My mobile phone still has today’s date – but it always has today’s date… it shouldn’t really have any other date! Today being March 9th I must add, not the 16th.

I’m back inside now, and back on the 9th again – it was only out back where I was slightly ahead of myself.

Realigned and readjusted back in the present I am.

At least the weather was good next Sunday… but come to think of it, the Grinds looked slightly different to how they usually do. It must have been a trick of the light though, or maybe the trees were starting to bloom once again, what with Spring being here.

And, in a few weeks, here in the UK, we’ll all be stepping forward in time one hour as British Summer Time begins, on March 30th, and we have to manually adjust our clocks. The same date as the next scheduled New Moon.

Unless I’m shunted forward again the week before, and experience that Sunday a week early as well.

I need to lie down in a darkened room now… talking about the future in the past tense has a strange effect on me. My words out of order are typed. And I can’t really blame that on Fingers. OK, then… I can!

Damn it. I have been working to influence the tides and move the full moon to the 18th in order to celebrate my birth. It appears as though I need to work harder on my magic. You seem to be influencing time in your travels. I bet your exhausted. Perhaps a nap and a cup of tea will set things right.

    Erm Tom?

Summertime starts at 2am on the 10th, so set your clocks one hour forward tonight as you go to bed! 🙂

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

I’ve just had to double-check with the government’s website, Prenin, they’re saying the clocks go forward on the 30th.
Unless it is the tenth, and I’m still in that parallel dimension somewhere! But no… eek… I don’t want to lose an hour’s sleep tonight… I need to work up to that!

We still have it all to come, Diane. I’m preparing myself early for the missing hour this year…

This weekend was spring forward-time over here in the US, Tom. so that means more asleep-at-my-desk-time at The Grind come Monday.

There is that, LA. I never notice the extra hour when the clocks move the other way, but it takes me months to get over this missing hour! Well, a day or two, anyway…!

I do so hate losing an hour, Sir Aquatom, (I know we get it back, kind of thing, later in the year, but do we get interest? added minutes or hours? No way hose’) Time traveliing can get so, so confusing, no wonder you’re having panic attacks.. and yer mansions going haywire… (I’ll be wo-manually putting all my thingies forward,, microwave, central heating timer. oh for goodness sakes …where my Magic Wand, ?) xPenx.

I don’t think we do get it back, Lady P. I never notice the extra hour, but DO notice the missing one. I’m building myself slowly up to this time change, just as an experiment to see if I don’t notice it as much. I’ll probably be suffering from jet lag for a month afterwards! And of course! There’s all the clocks to change as well.
