Imagination is limitless.
The sky isn’t the limit – it is merely the beginning.
The gateway; the doorway to answers without questions…
The imagination is the realm of the dreams.
So, the silence, the darkness and the void – are they the sky, the realm, the dream or the imagination? Or maybe the beginning, the doorway, the question? How about the answer, or even the limit?
What do you see when standing at the edge of forever?
At the edge of the Silence / the Darkness / the Void…

Its true the sky is only the beginning…and that’s where it begins to become completely mindboggling…the limitless endlessness of space.
Have a great day Tom.

Tom, I just finished watching Shadow of the Moon, the brilliant documentary where they speak to some of the lucky astronauts who made it to the moon. This post reminded me of them, and also of how they spoke about our little blue planet, and how beautiful it looked. I wish every single human being could go to the moon, just to see how our earth must look from there, I think if we all did, maybe we’d rethink some things, and stop fighting and try to protect this beautiful blue jewel of planet we have.

Hi Alannah, I haven’t heard of that documentary – I’ll look out for it.
I may have mentioned this before (I’m not sure) but a few years ago, Channel 4 broadcast a show called Space Cadets. It was a hoax where the contestants thought they were on a reality show following them as they underwent training and selection to go into orbit. In one of the scenes, the contestants (who didn’t know it wasn’t real and were under the impression they were in orbit) got to see the Earth from the front window of the shuttle. The feeling I got from this was amazing. In those few moments, those people must have experienced what you talk about in your comment – but for them, it would have been real. It was very moving.
I agree with you, we should look after this planet more – it is our home, after all…
Thanks for commenting, Alannah! 😀LikeLike
