No sooner have we left the safari, than we’re back on it again! Another quick version of an ATC/ACEO (click here if you’d like a refresher) this time of a baby zebra, or a foal, resting after spending the day joyfully galloping across the open field in all temperatures.
These pictures are small, so getting as much detail in is tricky, especially in the time I allow myself to paint them. I think I manage to get the basics across, and can always return to either finish them off at a later time, or paint another.
I quite like how this zebra foal has turned out though… I’ve managed to paint in an optical illusion. Can you really see which way the zebra is lying? Keep your eyes on it, and see the angle at which the zebra is resting change.
