One Minute Ramble: The Weather

Beautifully sunny here today at the Mansion. Clear, blue skies with the wispiest of white clouds. A slight chill in the air indicates that Winter is still hanging on, but it is gradually being replaced by Spring.

The mornings are lighter earlier.

The days are lighter longer.

The evenings are darker later.

Morning frost is replaced by morning dew. The gentle breezes carry a slight warmth with them. Zephyrs swirl around with a gentle and soothing embrace, carrying an effortless, unified birdsong chorus from nowhere, yet everywhere, at the same time.

Skies are gloriously orange and red at sunset, and in the mornings they are fabulously pink and yellow.

All is calm. All is good.

This is the kind of weather I want to hear about. Things are a bit hectic at the moment, but we WILL be hearing this kind of forecast soon.

Hope that anyone affected by the current extreme weather is keeping themselves well, and that any ‘issues’ are quickly resolved. I shall elaborate no further, as I am focussed on the positives, just trying my bit. It’s my world as well!

Keep on keeping on!

That last photo, Tom, is a sight for sore eyes. Gorgeous. I know good weather is coming but is sure is taking its ‘dern’ time.

It is, but it’ll soon be here, Tess. The photo’s from Microsoft Clip Art!

I think it’s real, Tess, they have some photos on Clip Art but I have no idea where it is. Of course, they could have made it to LOOK real!

I wish we’d get this kind of weather here, too. All rain and cold these days.

    Hi Tom! 🙂

I slept through the storm, but thankfully we had no flooding here!!! 🙂

Looks like the south will take years to recover… 😦

God Bless my friend and keep warm!!! 🙂

    Prenin.

The floods are really bad, Prenin. Each year they’ve gotten worse.
We have another couple of storms to go through, I’ve heard, then let’s hope the weather settles down!

’tis a ‘scape much needed, Sir Aquatom somewhere balmy (love that word, ‘cos it sounds nothing like it’s meaning 🙂 ) someplace where the sun shines down benignly, almost as if saying, ‘I share, I give and enjoy’ A place of peace. xPenx

Pen, its mad how some words don’t sound anything like they mean, yet others mean the very opposite to what they mean also. There are some that do just what it says on the tin though, so we’re OK there.
      Here’s to nice and balmy!

I’ve noticed hints of spring 😉 But I feel guilty as sin everytime I mention it because just up the road as it were from me, people are waist deep in sewage-flood water and their homes are disaster zones…then again 🙂 I did make a point of ensuring I was not living by a river or on a flood plain 🙂 And we’ve had no snow or ice…and the house is still standing….and spring is on it’s way!! Yeah you’re right 🙂 Half way through February and well on the way to March 🙂 Spring…bounce…bounce…bounce…spring…bounce…spring!!…. 🙂

I think it was in the air today 🙂 There’s a decidedly spring like feeling to the blue skies and sunshine that finally graced my part of the galaxy today 🙂 It can’t be far away now can it!!

I feel almost guilty here after spending a warm morning on the harbour and now lazing in the sun….almost.

I don’t blame you, Jo. For lazing, I mean! I would, if the weather were like that here too!
