View from the window: On top of the world

Something tells me I’ve climbed too many flights of stairs. I’m most certainly on the wrong floor. Nice view from up here, though.

I’m just thinking; what if someone on the planet around that bright star toward the top of the first pane has done the same as me? If they’re looking out of their upper floor window, they’ll be seeing this view from the other side. And someone around one of those stars in the bottom half of the middle pane will be seeing the view from a different angle again, although they’ll be more or less seeing what I’m seeing. And those from the right may be seeing things from underneath.

It’s amazing when you think how many things can be seen differently, just by looking at them in a slightly different way. Everything is a matter of perspective!

I think I’ll sit and ponder the Universe for a short while, before heading back down to the right floor. I can’t remember what I came upstairs for in the first place anyway!

As soon as you climb down all those stairs you will remember immediately what you went up there for. But before you head back up, write the task down on a piece of paper or the palm of your hand, less you forget again once you reach the top. 🙂
    Fun post, Tom! 🙂

Thank, Deb. Just got back down now, so don’t think I’ll bother going back up just yet! 😉

Long way up to go to bed T….Better not ever tie one on as that journey could become dangerous! Maybe when you go back down it turns out not to be the way you came up and now you are on the far side of the galaxy!!!!! VK

Bed isn’t that high up, VK, I’ve no idea why I went up so far… luckily, though I came down in the right place!

Different perspectives….I just had a conversation earlier this evening with a couple of friends on the different ways of reading the bible…different perspectives. Love the view from your window!!

Thanks… It’s very changeable, Shree – that view!

According to the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy to know who we are and where we are in perspective to the entire multidimensional Universe would annihilate our brains, so the one thing we cannot ever have if we are to survive in this immensity is a sense of proportion! 🙂

    God Bless!

That looks a bit like the view outside my window 😉 But since I’m viewing it from Europa not Earth I guess it’s slightly different! Having climbed that many stairs that high up I’m not surprised you’ve forgotten what you went up there for! Time must have done some weird things to get you that far up in this lifetime!

Another thing, Icewolf – I was meant to be on the other side of the Mansion as well, so I was completely in the wrong place to start off with! Sigh!
At least we have similar views!

Your mansion works in very strange ways as we all now know! So it’s no great surprise that you were in completely the wrong side of it 🙂 No doubt your mansion knew that you were in fact exactly where you were supposed to be…just that you aren’t the remotest bit convinced of that minor detail 😉 Actually…I do believe that’s your mansion perched on the far edge of Europa…yes… definitely your mansion…oh Wolf! That spells all kinds of trouble in the spacetime continuum!! You should be getting a great view out of the window now! 🙂

Now let me go and have a look!
This Mansion of mine manages to get all over the place! Maybe that’s the reason why I’m feeling out of time lately (tomorrow’s post!)

Star gazing is definitely a worthy alternative
to watching boring television or climbing out
onto the roof for a different perspective, but
it certainly fuels the imagination Tom 🙂

With stargazing, you have to think about what you’re looking at and concentrate. With TV watching you have to look at what you’re looking at and not bother with very much else. Pity it wasn’t a little warmer for stargazing, Andro! 😉
