though dark clouds cover
there is always light somewhere
closer than you think
although the rain falls
can the spirit be dampened
with the light inside
even through the fear
and challenges all around
the light always shines
in times of darkness
allow your light to shine bright
and reflect off all
Good advice!
In the picture, the optimist will see a silver lining; the pessimist will see a menacing spectre, hand upraised!

Thanks, Col. I spotted the silver lining first… didn’t even see the spectre until you mentioned it! π

Light is knowledge and the more we investigate the truth instead of lazily believing in the lies we are told, the brighter the world will become. Shine on TL and have a great weekend glittering about….VK π

Thanks, VK. I hope to keep on shining the light (it’s my ‘word’ for this year, I’ve only just remembered!) π

Thanks, Deb. The picture is from Pixabay, but it jumped out at me when I saw it… I wrote the words first.

You must remain open to the light to be a candle in the darkness!!! π

Exactly, Prenin. And being consumed by the darkness is no good for anyone.
