Patience and the Horse and the Tiger

It’s nearing the time.
The time? Of course!
The time for the tiger to meet the horse
The time to open imagination wider
The time for the horse to meet the tiger
The time where the morning meets the night
The time where the darkness greets the light
The time where shadows fade from sight
The time where reflections grow very bright
The time when impossible becomes a might
The time when the horse, which is very white,
Meets the tiger with its strong bold stripes.

Although, that said, the time’s not right,
It’s nearing the time. Almost; not quite.

Good one TL….Someone needs to do a study on your brain 🙂 I swear I don’t know where you get these ideas from. Are you sure you are from this planet??? VK

Thanks, VK… although I wouldn’t recommend a study of my brain due to all the sec erm, I mean confusing thoughts in there.
I’m actually going through a creative dry patch at the moment… I’ve struggled with the past few days’ posts and haven’t even done one for today, I hope this doesn’t last. As yesterday’s post proves, I NEED to post something, ANYTHING… but there does come a point.
And from this planet? Me? Now there’s a question!
Sending (((Good Vibes))) your way, VK… take care!

Think I need to get some inspiration from you! Creative dry spot here too. Pulled last post and confidence is rapidly vanishing so maybe vanish me and my blog too before interest in it does altogether 🙂

Eek, Icewolf! So we’re both like two drifting deserts at the moment, at the mercy of the elements, being blown hither and thither and having nothing to show for it. Or something like that.
Blogger’s Block’s just terrible, it really is. But it passes.
But Heavens to Murgatroyd, NO! You can’t even think of vanishing! Not even an option! Nah ah.
Why don’t you see if you can use the WordPress prompts to steer your posts, using those snippets of research you’ve gathered, and your Europan scientific viewpoint, throw in a touch of history (and perhaps mystery and intrigue) and then combine what you come up with into a weekly / fortnightly / monthly post? Or do what I do and shove in a poem every now and then.
Grab that confidence of yours back, kicking and screaming (and possibly biting and howling if need be!), and keep on keeping on. You have a good blog which is different to all of the others I follow, so , selfishly speaking, you simply have to post again! To quote my Inner Guru “Write and the words will follow”. (I think my Inner Guru said that, anyway!)

You have a wise Inner Guru Tom! My Inner Guru seems to have cleared off on holiday to some far distant land far far from common sense 😉 Calmed down a bit from my blogging meltdown now but I do think I need to make some changes…like remembering that blogging world is about community and friendships too not just about the most important blog in the blogsphere…mine!! lol someone said to me by some timely coincidence that often my posts go over their head and they don’t know what to say by way of comment so leave it to the “clever” followers who understand them. Wake up call!! The last thing I want is for my blogging friends to come away from my posts with an inferiority complex!!! Or to be thoroughly intimidated by what they see there!! Need to have a little think around that subject and see what can be done 🙂 Do you have a link for the WP Prompts? I found one via the mobile but managed to delete the email before I’d checked it out! Regaining confidence to post is a sticky issue but I’m reviewing some stuff on my tablet that I’d forgotten about so I might run with them for a while and see what comes out of it inspiration wise 😉 In the meantime I 110% appreciate your suggestions and your thoughtfulness 🙂

My Inner Guru, most of the time, keeps himself to himself, Icewolf, leaving me forever bumbling forward. Sometimes, though, he makes a timely appearance!
I’m pleased to read that you’ve calmed down a bit – you sent me off into a mild panic there for a moment.
Your blog has a scientific slant, so you will have technical bits every now and then… maybe breaking down some scientific terms may help, or creating a glossary page or something… it’s your blog so however you present the information is up to you. I like reading it anyway, but I’m selfish where that’s concerned!
There’s this link: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt which may help, and I think there are several other blog prompt sites on the internet (just Google blog prompt or writing prompt – although you may get a few weird and wonderful prompts that way. Sometimes, however, weird and wonderful is good!).
And it’s a pleasure. If I can’t help a fellow blogger, then there’s not much point in me blogging really, is there? You know I’m all for Feeling Good, and blogging helps me to Feel Good, so it’s good to help from time to time.

Thank you, Diane. Both were desperate attempts to pluck inspiration from thin air, at least I got something together for the post! 😀
