Passing things over


How, when it’s pitch dark, can we make out moving shadows in the corner of the room through the corner of our eyes?

And how many more of these questions will there be?

    What you are describing is peripheral vision which is more acute in the dark! 🙂

    That and there are things that live in the shadows and in dark places… 🙂

      I know we see in black and white at night (or in the dark) but whether I actually remember or even realise I’m seeing in black and white is a different matter entirely, Prenin. The slightest bit of light activates the colour-sight, so really we only see in black and white when we can’t really see anything, just black. I’m beginning to doubt this theory now…
