This Blogger’s Block has me beaten. Broken. Defeated.
Yes, I know I have things to write about.
Yes, I know I have stories to continue… laboratory experiments to report on… Mansion explorations to officially record… Views from the Window to post… One Minute Rambles to ramble on about… bad portraits to portray… rhymes to write… historical facts to twist – erm – share… Even though I know all that… I’m like a hollow shell. Devoid of ideas.
Sometimes, a break is needed.
Step completely away from the keyboard.
Hopefully, this isn’t the end.
No, it isn’t.
Not permanently, anyway.
A temporary rest should reignite the spark inside me, allow me to flow and grow and create and write and soar.
Ahem.
‘Think of something new’ is less poetic, but closer to the truth. ‘Remake something old’ is even closer, but again, I still need to fill the gap to do that.
I shall be away, and look for something to fix my block while I’m at it.
It shouldn’t be for too long. Maybe a week or so. A battery recharge. If I’m recharged any sooner, I’ll be back sooner.
