Not A Love Potion

love potion

With thick bubbles that first rise and then drop
This love potion is certainly a flop

The colour’s all wrong, as it should be clear
It doesn’t look like it’ll be ready this year

It’s too late to start to create a fresh batch
That won’t be ready now until, at least, March

A wrong love potion wouldn’t work anyway
So sorry Valentine’s, is all I can say.

This potion could be used, although not as intended,
But as a product which is rather quite splendid!

So from a flop to stop a flop, it’s worked out quite well
However right at the moment, I need no hair gel…

When you get Voodoo Lou, I bet he will have some things to say about these potions. 🙂

Sounds like when my mum tried to bake scones and came out with the finest biscuits I’ve ever tasted!!! 😛

    God Bless my friend! 🙂

It does bubble quite nicely doesn’t it? and Sir Aquatom, it’ll be handy when thee do needest hair gel, so ’tis actually a future investment sorta thing. (Mayhap it has an extra added ingredient which, when discovered, will swell the coffers and thee will become a rich mogul.) xPenx

Yes, I agree, Pen. Investing in the future is the way forward!
I may not use this hair gel though… my other concoctions didn’t turn out very well in the past…
