It all comes together!

Finally, we got to the shop.

The little tree was still there, in the corner, behind all the others. Slightly squashed, but it was the tree that we wanted.

The lady in the shop gave it to us for half price.

It’s now standing in the corner of the living room, already looking better than it did in the shop. Only one more thing to do now… get the box down from the spare room upstairs. Carefully add the decorations to the tree… and place the angel on the treetop!

It’ll look nice once again, said the very familiar voice.

Lovely!

Mine is already up, 11 days early! I’m having Christmas visitors so I wanted the house too look festive. It doesn’t feel right.

  Tilly, it’s odd how you eventually get used to the decorations being up, and then it doesn’t feel right again when they come down again in January! They look good whilst they’re up, though!

PS Love the look of your blog. How do you manage to make all these great changes? I could find only one Christmas blog theme this year. I don’t think WP likes Christmas 😦

  Thank you very much, Tilly! I just use the same theme and add a background and header, which I usually create myself in PowerPoint. This year’s header, at the moment, comes with an added panel for my December 21st party, here at the Mansion, so it’s a little more ‘busy’ than usual…

Perhaps you will awaken and find the tree already decorated…Your whole living space alive with Christmas and the ‘box’ wasn’t even opened! Hummmmm…..VK

Strange….My comment disappeared! What is the mansion up to now??? I had just said that perhaps T you will awaken and find the tree and living space already decorated and the ‘box’ not opened!
