Finally, we got to the shop.
The little tree was still there, in the corner, behind all the others. 
Slightly squashed, but it was the tree that we wanted.
The lady in the shop gave it to us for half price.
It’s now standing in the corner of the living room, already looking better than it did in the shop. Only one more thing to do now… get the box down from the spare room upstairs. Carefully add the decorations to the tree… and place the angel on the treetop!
It’ll look nice once again, said the very familiar voice.
