Up early.

Out early.

Supplies bought.

Art supplies, that is.

And I have no idea what I’m going to do with them… just went on a pick and mix rampage and bought anything that jumped out at me!

I have two tiny tiny segmented containers, two sparkly glass candle holders, a two-handled vase, some feathers, a glue gun with glue sticks, a sharp knife, some air-drying clay and some sticky fixers. Oh, and some stretched canvases (canvi?) and some soft pastels. I don’t know what I was thinking.

But there’s nothing new there!

Inspiration strikes in the oddest ways.

Sometimes, the most random object helps.

About the image:

A watercolour painting of my paintbrushes, which I painted in July 2016 as part of #WorldWatercolorMonth. It has been digitally enhanced and imbued with the creative power of the Universe, each star representing a spark of artistic inspiration. One of them will find its way to me soon, I’m sure. Oh, and I’ve digitally added the signature as well. I say digitally. I mean through PowerPoint.

  1. Tom, this is VERY impressive my friend.. Loving how you have got the two combined.. and that you are once again bitten by the art bug.. I have my stall set out for all day tomorrow to sit in my artroom.. And play with paints.. 🙂
