#WorldWatercolorGroup

The monthly adventure over at Doodlewash this month is Share Your Favourite Things, with one of Charlie’s suggested prompts being ‘favourite flower’. Now, I was going to paint a watercolour of the River Mersey, when I suddenly realised it was flower and not flower!

I think I like all flowers… sadly, it’s something I really haven’t given much thought to, but every flower I see affects me in a good way, and I like Feeling Good. And as I like anything that makes me Feel Good, it must be said I like all flowers. Picking a favourite could have been tricky, when all of a sudden a beam of sunlight shone in through the window onto my blank watercolour pad, inspiring me to paint a sunflower.

These magnificent flowers brighten any day… I hope my Doodlewash of one helps to brighten Blogland!

Happy Saturday!

    1. Thanks, Prenin.
I’m just doing it to fill any spare time I have, but if I get better and it leads somewhere I shan’t be complaining!

  2. I love all flowers too, and my favorites are sunflowers. I have a bunch of them growing in my yard, and apparently the birds and the bugs love them as much as I do! 🙂

    1. I suppose they’d be like bird and bug beacons, CM, given the size they are! 😀
