The monthly adventure over at Doodlewash this month is Share Your Favourite Things, with one of Charlie’s suggested prompts being ‘favourite flower’. Now, I was going to paint a watercolour of the River Mersey, when I suddenly realised it was flower and not flower!
I think I like all flowers… sadly, it’s something I really haven’t given much thought to, but every flower I see affects me in a good way, and I like Feeling Good. And as I like anything that makes me Feel Good, it must be said I like all flowers. Picking a favourite could have been tricky, when all of a sudden a beam of sunlight shone in through the window onto my blank watercolour pad, inspiring me to paint a sunflower.
These magnificent flowers brighten any day… I hope my Doodlewash of one helps to brighten Blogland!
