Light Pollution

Bright horizons
In the dark of night
Might to some
Be a warming sight

But when the skies
at night are bright
They may awake
those who sleep light

Yet those who slumber
Right and tight
Won’t wake to see
The night’s bright lights

    I haven’t seen a starry sky in decades! 😦

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

That’s not good, Prenin… I usually have a good view of the sky unless there’s a lot of cloud (which is usually most of the time, thinking about it!)
My head’s always up there, so I see it in my mind’s eye if not physically!

Thanks, Amy. If I’m sleepy I can as well, but not if I’m just being lazy…

I love this. I love the effect you did with the font colour, too!

I’m baaaack!!!! Ten days and $160.00 worth of computer repair I can finally get online again! I thought of you TL….The culprit for my whole computer fiasco was the fact windows was trying to install windows 10 on my computer without consent!!! It was loaded into my automatic updates! That is so wrong! It totally messed up my computer. I couldn’t do anything as everything became stalled and I couldn’t connect with anything. That is one good reason to hate windows 10!! Glad to be back….VK 🙂

Welcome back, VK! I’m kind of ‘part away’ at present, just popping in every now and again with the odd post or so.
Your computer problems are no good… at least I volunteered for Windows 10 (consequences and all come what may), but you shouldn’t be forced to have it if you don’t want it… and you certainly shouldn’t have to pay for problems because of it… that’s like there’s no charge if you have it, but there is a charge if you don’t.
I hope things are sorted for you completely now.

I like the lighting effects 🙂 Clever what you did with the words too! I don’t have curtains just net’s in my window so I wake up quite naturally according to the light outside. I also get to see the light of the Full \moon streaming in through the window 🙂 The best times are just before dawn when I wake up roasting hot and go downstairs for a coffee…standing at the back door often yields some beautiful pre-dawn sunrises and cloud combinations and on occasion some great early morning moon sights 🙂

Thanks, Icewolf… I like using colour gradients with my posts from time to time.
I bet waking naturally is far better than having a screaming alarm go off at silly o’clock… I was going to say I’ll give it a go, but as winter’s coming in I may find myself sleeping in longer!

Thought I’d better mention I’ve incuded you in my latest blog post 🙂 I’ve included a link back to this site – had to add it in the comments section as I didn’t fancy another 15 attempt to get the post to re-post on W.P after editing 😉 If you’re not happy about this and would prefer not to be in it, drop me a quick line or two and let me know. I will of course remove the offending post immediately 🙂 It’s based on you though! So it will ruin the fun for everyone else if you ask me to remove it!!! So no pressure or anythng like that lol fair play all the way yeah?!! lol 😉

Oh, thank you very much, Icewolf… I’ve just read the post – and no worries about it, by the way! There seems to be quite a lot going on around here at the moment!
