We’ve had a Full Moon on Thursday. I can honestly say I have felt and noticed the effects of it this time around… but maybe that’s just me.
However, on Wednesday, the day before the day of the Full Moon, the Moon very kindly put on a spectacular display… and even provided a Moonbow! The first vivid Moonbow I can say I’ve ever noticed. Yes, I’ve seen halos around the Moon before, but nothing as colourful as what I witnessed the other night from out in the Grinds.
I’ve taken a few shots on my mobile phone. Apologies for the graininess of the photos, but I had to zoom in to the maximum to get any kind of decent picture at all; the Moon was too bright otherwise.

This first photo has had its colours enhanced using the Colour-Pop feature in Windows Live Writer.
The second photo is as it was… no enhancements at all:

You may be mistaken into thinking that the above photo is of the Sunrise or Sunset, but no… it’s still the Moon.
Can you see the Spirits of the Trees dancing in the above photo? It may be dark and fuzzy, but the more you look, the more you will see!

This final two photos are after all of the action. The cloud has almost cleared, and the Moon is now appearing more Moon-like once again.
It’s nice to experience a little Moon Magic every once in a while.
