View from the window: Dragon’s Playground

They’re back.

They’re here. It’s that time of year.

The dragons return to the Grinds.

The Mansion took me up high.

To see them fly in the sky.

And roar as they came in to land.

They’ve not been here for a couple of years now, the dragons; it’s been quite quiet without them roaring at all hours of the day and night, setting fire to things when they hiccup and frightening all of the other creatures out in the Grinds. It’s a good thing these particular dragons are herbivores, though. I don’t think the Vampire Sheep would have agreed with them.

From what I can see, there are two of them… but they usually fly at night, so there could be more. The Grinds are going to be somewhat busy for the next few weeks, I suppose.

Dragon-time. Flamin’ ‘eck.

Oh TL….Take some time to tame one and ride it into the unknown and come back and tell us what you saw! Kind of like the movie Avatar…Bet it wouldn’t take long to get one eating from your hand. Give it a go and let us know what happens…VK 😉

They are very wary at the moment, VK, but we’ll see how things go. Cats get to like me, so I can’t see dragons being that much different…

They’d better watch out for the Vampire Sheep lol or it might be much quieter than usual in The Grinds!! You could have fun though if you could manage to tame one for dragon riding! 😉

I know. I’ll let you know how I get on, Icewolf. The Vampire Sheep are actually quite friendly. Of course, that could be a ruse you know… being, erm, vampires in sheep’s clothing.

Would it be cool to have a pet dragon. One that was good to us, and protected us from all evil that came out way.

Indeed it would, Deb. If only they were trainable, like in the movies…

I don’t know about dragons but it seems to me, you should watch your head…and hair. Would you trust one up close, let alone tame one? 😦

They look friendly, Tess… although you should never really judge a book by its cover!

Well, at least you’ve made me feel better about being surrounded by grizzly bears. And there’s a sentence I never expected to type… 😉

Glad I could be of assistance then, Diane. Are you surrounded by more of them now? Are they wearing funny hats or clothes?? 😉

How these late night session do ‘drag-on’ 😉

Sounds like your lawn won’t need trimming for a while!!! 🙂

    God Bless!

The lawn’s a bit scorched as it is through the hot sun, Prenin. Dragon’s breath is only going to make it look all patchy!

I know, Sue. Their non-fiery herbivore breath is nothing to be sniffed at either!
