Partying at a time like this!

Well, to say I’m partied out would be an understatement. I’ve been participating in a Flash Mob. I’ve been travelling to every corner of the world. And I’m partying like I’ve never partied before.

OK. Everything is virtual. Virtual Flash Mob, virtual travel and virtual party. It’s still a party, never the less.

It’s a party to celebrate the one year Blogoversary (Blogaversary / Blogiversary) (or Blogday1 as I call it) of fellow blogger Susie Lindau. Susie has very kindly opened her blog for fellow bloggers to meet and greet as a way of celebrating her blog’s first birthday. She has added her very own Video Log, and started the Flash Mob dancing. I danced for a full hour around the Mansion whilst I was preparing for the first stage of my epic journey around the blogosphere.

I’m taking things nice and slowly. I haven’t really got a lot of time to do a lot in one go anyway at the moment, so rather than rush and miss, I’ll amble and find gold! And already I have. I’ve found several blogs that I will visit again and have a more leisurely read of. And I’ll have more chance to visit some of Susie’s posts that I have to catch up on. I’ll be visiting other blogs from the party as the week goes on.

On the subject of catching up, I’m also having to give myself time to catch up on the regular blogs that I follow. I’ve been squeezing in a cheeky visit here, and a sneaky comment there, but have (possibly) a hundred or so posts that I need to catch up on.

I’ve always been catching up with my blog reading, but have never been this far behind before. I will get there, I promise. I promise myself, as I enjoy the reading, and I promise all of the bloggers I follow, for I enjoy your writing. Luckily, a long weekend is approaching, and I’ll use that time wisely. (Famous last words…)

On the subject of parties, my Blogday2 is approaching. May 13th is the day, when, two years ago this little experiment started. I’ve deleted a few really rubbish posts from the early days, and still have a few more which are in the ‘possibly delete’ file. I have reposted some of the posts that I like from those sepia days of yesteryear, as well as one or two more recent ones (due to time issues etc.!)

I’m trying to think of a way to celebrate my second. I’ll come back to this when I have more time, but it might not be anything as grand as Susie’s celebration – and I certainly can’t post a video log due to secret identity issues.

But, all things considered things are going well. I feel good, which is the important thing. I have a lot of reading material at my extended fingertips now, which is great.

I will be along to read your posts (if already I haven’t) in due course. This is actually directed to those blogs I have listed on the Blogs I Visit page (link above), but it now also incorporates all of those new blogs. New to me anyway. Which, in turn, really incorporates all of the blogs around the world I suppose. Virtually in every corner. Well, I can only do what I can do.

If I don’t see you here first, I’ll see you there!

Onwards and upwards! (After this next Flash Dance, that is!)

I’m listening to a flashmob T-mobile advert, a great piece of work! 🙂

      Hi Prenin!
I currently have a video on my Feel Good! page of one of those T Mobile adverts, at Heathrow Airport. Singing without music this time. It was used in their recent adverts!
I quite like the dancing flash mobs myself!

Clever Susie: what a great way to celebrate a blogaversary, getting bloggers together. Looking forward to seeing how you decide to celebrate, Tom!

Hi Kate, yes, Susie had a good idea with this one! I, on the other hand, still need to come up with one, and time is running out. There’s something I haven’t said for a while… 😉
