Waiting

I’ve found a way to slow time down. It is going that slowly, I need to find something to do to actually speed it up a little! I’ll find the right balance with this time thing one day, I’m sure I will.

So, what is the secret to slowing down time? Arrange for a plumber to come to service a boiler, but only specify the morning, and between 9 and 12. And then wait.

And wait.

And wait.

And wait.

And wait.

And wait some more.

And a little more.

And a little longer.

I’ve been waiting two hours now, and it feels like two days.

It’s not the plumber’s fault – he’s obviously busy with the weather – but he’d better hurry up! I’m getting bored of waiting!

I’m going to watch a kettle boil!

Edit (Literally ten seconds after posting) The plumber has arrived. Twenty seconds after him arriving, the service has been completed and he is gone (…it’s a new boiler!) That has to be the quickest coincidence on record! 🙂
