Winter Colours

Even though there’s a lot of white and grey, look closer in that special light and see the colours shine!

It may be Winter, but it can still be fun!

The Lake shines in any season!

Only don’t stand still for too long looking for those special moments… usually, they just appear like magic. Be ready for what comes into view!

Well I’m sure Tuftie must be in there somewhere…Yes winter is usually pretty dull with white and gray so any bit of color helps! I dread going outside this morning as we’ve been hammered with a carefully manipulated snow storm and there’s more than a foot of snow waiting for me to shovel it 😦 I have to wait for the snow to stop. Only white here for now…lol…Happy weekend TL…VK

White there, VK, and black here – a power cut, of all things!
Tufty hasn’t been around for a while, but I’m sure he’s somewhere nearby!

I just assumed all ducks stick around for winter but maybe he went south? Sorry you’re in the dark there. Not fun and can be quite chilly! I think I prefer white to black! Happy rest of your Sunday. Keep your typing finger warm so it doesn’t freeze up…VK

He met Mrs Tufty don’t forget, and they’ve probably gone to a new lake together!
I’m about to move to check the power situation… things don’t stay dark for long! πŸ™‚

Nice shots of the season. Somehow, even the drab of winter can deliver wonderful colors. You have icy on the pond already? Brrrrrr ….

The Lake is frozen solid, Frank, and we’ve had snow already. An Arctic blast, apparently! I saw a frozen water fountain earlier, so the temperature drop must have been sudden! πŸ˜³πŸ™‚

I’m claustrophobic, Icewolf, so can’t think about it too much. I don’t even think about it when I’m swimming… can’t go underwater! Nope, not me! 😊

I get severe hydrophobia when faced with the prospect of swimming πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ and large depths of water!πŸ’§ Never mastered the illustrious art of swimming, just sink like a brick straight to the bottom! No it doesn’t extend to showering, just in case you were wondering πŸ˜‰ No smelly Icewolves!!🀣

I don’t mind water being splashed on my face, so it’s the same with showering and bathing with me too (can you imagine if it were any different? 😳)
With swimming I can move on top of the water, but nothing graceful or anything… and getting out is less graceful still! 🀣😊
