The Garden

‘though stems force through
spring’s last frost
and daylight stays a while longer,
‘tis still some time
’til the garden gleams
its golden hue;
yet it still brings on a smile

    They all seem to be saying, “Look at me! Look at me!”
    A bit of pushing and shoving going on like ladies at the shopping mall. 😉

      Well, they all need to be the centre of attention, Ladysighs… the flowers, that is, not the ladies.

        The flowers are certainly dressed in the most lovely of designer fashions. Any lady would be envious. 🙂

      The picture’s an old one that I’ve published previously on Splodge and Splatter, and it didn’t really take that long, once the elements had been created… just a bit of copying, pasting and resizing in PowerPoint! 😀

    Spring has its own way of testing patience – but even frost loses in time – well, at least temporarily.

      That it does, Frank; although I much prefer the Spring frosts to the Winter ones! 😀
