They say every photo tells a tail, but I have a feeling I may be missing something quite huge in this one!

These didn’t make a peep the day I took the photos, Ladysighs. I take it you aren’t keen on their melodic tones?

I take it they have peacocks there, Chris? I’ve only ever been to the Minster there! (Well, passed it outside! 😀 😀 )

They did about 40 years ago!

They probably still do then, things like that don’t tend to change too much…

Beware the squirrels there. I was bitten by one once when trying to share a piece of my sandwich one lunchtime.

Will do… although your squirrel may have been a little overexcited, very hungry or both!

I’ve been told my little singing songs resemble peacock’s tones. 😦

Well, if peacocks sound like you singing, they’re very pleasant indeed!

Good grins for my Saturday morning. I was thinking about male peacocks the other day. On one side, the beautiful display for the males. Then again, the inefficiency it must cause in their flight.

Apparently, they are quite elegant in flight, Frank (so I believe!) although they can’t fly too far. Not that I’ve ever seen one in flight… I’ve seen them ‘jump’ though! 🙂

I have seen them on video . They are graceful even in flight.

They really look as though they shouldn’t be able to fly, Beverly, so they are quite impressive!

That is said about the bumble bees too.

True… and they manage to bumble around quite gracefully too!
