The more I see, the more I sigh.
Flabbergasted, I wonder ‘why?’
Patience is a virtue, or so they say…
Well, that’s not the case in the present day
With cutting in
And cutting short
And sideways glances
Without a thought
And careless meanderings
And selfish memes
Is friendly society now but a dream?

We’re told to think
And what to believe
And what to see
And what to read
And who to like
And who not to trust
And when to breathe
And when to feel
And when to work
And when to play
And when to …
And all the time we’re free…

I see.

The more I see.

The more I see.

  1. Seriously here . . . you could have read my mind.
The way we are now, and the direction in which we seem to be travelling (at great speed) scares me and makes me feel miserable if I think about it for too long.

    GREAT word skill Tom.
    Have a blessed day ~ Cobs. x

      1. It looks like I’m in the apology box too, Tom.
Family visiting for two weeks has left little time for my blogs. It’s strange how much I miss my blogging peeps when I’m away. Hope all is well with you. I hope to navigate to your world much more frequently. Have a SUPER week …!!! Isadora 😎
