As I type this, warm rain is cascading from thick, dark, heavy clouds that are swirling and circling above. Through the clouds – all of them – is a constant rumbling of thunder, echoing and permeating through the cover. The temperature is a lot more pleasant – and even being out in the rain is a pleasure. Mind, it usually is.

The Sun is trying to break through any gap it can find in the cloud, but I think – I hope – for tonight the clouds have it.

Cool rumblings heralding a more comfortable end to the week? Maybe.

  1. Seriously? Is it really actually raining there Tom? [small twinkle of hope begins to burn it’s light within the heart of Cobs]. I have my fingers crossed you’ll say yes… but you might only using artistic licence.

LOVE the picture! You clever thing. ~ C. x

    1. Oh yes, it rained, Cobs. Torrential rain for a few minutes… most refreshing and invigorating! We were also forecast thunder and lightning – but we only got thunder.
And thank you… it’s another PowerPoint special! 😀

  2. Hi Tom! 🙂

    2am.

My weather station is going nuts, we have 44% humidity and rising while the temperature outside the pit is just beginning to drop.

No breeze yet, but I live in hope! 🙂

Shopping day is upon me, but I shall fear no evil because by the time it arrives it’ll be pissing down – I hope!!! 🙂

Have a great day my friend!!! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Prenin… this seems like so long ago now. It’s all the heat’s fault, of course!
Hope you got to the shops OK… in the rain (or not), depending on how you felt at the time! 😀

      1. Hi Tom! 🙂

I got there and back (reasonably) dry so I was happy and it was cool enough to get away with wearing my winter coat! 🙂

Getting there at around 9am was a bonus as Debbie was on and we had a good chat as we processed my shopping!!! 🙂

Now to get my sleep pattern sorted… :/

        God Bless!

  4. It’s been raining in my area for 2 days due to a tropical depression. We need it so I don’t mind the soggy days.

  5. The rumblings and rain have passed us by but the cool weather hasn’t. It’s been such a relief for the temperature to be 21 degrees today after the 33 degrees of yesterday. 🙂
