Wordle: Museum Piece

Orange bouquet on a plain black drum,
Work the interpretation out for yourself,
A sign, perhaps, to honour the Sun,
As depicted in blue and white Delph
Encircled within a tasselled line,
Speakers focus upon a dove,
Caringly etched upon plate so fine,
Brought on board to represent love

An arresting poem – there are a lot of ways to interpret what we see..

There are, Jae… and I think interpretation is a very interesting thing at times!

Through your words, I can picture that museum piece and the historical reasons for the etching and can see people gazing at it, wondering about those reasons…..it’s a lovely picture.

It has a fine lilt to it, and is open to many an interpretation one can work out for oneself; plus a fine line between the serious and the almost flippant!
