It was the idea that resonated with me at first.

Then the thought.

Then the action.

Then the settling down and cuddling in.

Then the relaxation.

Then the drifting gently away.

Then the luxury of a deep and replenishing sleep.

Aah. Sometimes, the phrase ‘just do it!’ can be used in apparently the totally opposite context!

  1. Glad it was a successful enterprise. Nothing more frustrating than to look forward all week to a good uninterrupted sleep over the weekend — and then toss and turn for hours!

    2. It was so successful, Col, it wants to carry on, and I have great trouble getting up in the morning! Sigh! 😀
Tossing and turning for hours is no good…

  2. Yep, I’ve been there too. Tossing and turning and then finally falling asleep.

    1. The tossing and turning is one part of it, Eugenia… the other, I find, is the constant clock watching. Or is that just me?

    1. Oh, I did, Prenin… and I continue to do so. The only thing is, the nights want to carry on passed the morning, and I find myself stuck in the middle of it all! 😀
Hope your sleep pattern settles soon again for you.
