They say there’s a man in the Moon. Well, a face, if nothing else. And sometimes, if you look closely, you can make out some of the features. The eyes shine brighter than all the other features when they appear, even brighter than the Moon itself. Occasionally, the Moon appears to smile as it watches the world below, without judgment.
The Moon is almost Full tonight. It’s casting a deep blue light over the Grinds and the Mansion, getting ready for its grand performance on Tuesday.
The Mansion bathed in Moonshine looks cold and mysterious. Like the Moon, its secrets are not revealed simply by looking. And like the Moon, the Mansion only reveals its features when it feels the time is right.
The face in the window? Could be a reflection from the past… an echo… a ghost. Or simply a face.
The Mansion is from another time, and in parts, another realm. The Moon has been a constant companion throughout that time and before, providing a magickal, mystical link to the Universe beyond. The Mansion gathers its energies from the Moon above and the Ley Lines below. And it uses them, also when it feels the time is right.
