A Mare of a Night

I sit and type
And in the light
I see the darkness appear

The sound outside
Makes me want to hide
It’s raining heavily once more here

The skies are full
And clouds are low
Making the night grow darker

Then out of the black
A bolt – a crack!
As the scene grows ever starker

Well you can’t trust they’ll be over in a flash. The cat and I are still underneath the bed. 😦

Still? I’m sure it’s fine to emerge now, Tess… you’re going away soon!

Oh yes! Thanks, Tom. the dust bunnies were worse than the weather. Must finish packing. 😀

CM, I hope you get a good one then – but a safe one all the same! Mine fizzled out…

    I love thunder storms! 🙂

The longest one I have on tape lasted two hours and included monsoon rains!!! 🙂

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

The rains were a bit like that last night, Prenin – although it could have been hailstone I suppose.
And then, it was gone! Nowhere near two hours, in the end!

I love storms, but don’t experience many out here in California. Very nice! I love the jolt of thunder.

We don’t really get that many storms here, Amy, well thunderous ones anyway…

Liked the poem, Sir Aquatom, I’m always waiting for the ‘crash’ of lightning, when thunder grumbles… It’s amazing how quickly the weather changes, like a show that ‘brings’ down the curtain, and it’s finished. ‘That’s all ffffolks!! ‘ xPenx

I agree. It looks like it’s in for the night, and then it’s gone – in another flash! Maybe it’s magic as well, Lady P…

This is what happened with Live Writer!!! I mentioned it on one of your previous posts…since then it is now working perfectly…I might eat my words when I attempt to post something later but for now we’ll go with that 😉 However!!! lightening has clearly struck it. It may be working nicely but something has wiped every single past blog post and all the drafts out of it!! Completely blank and empty! They are to be found in a folder on my laptop but when I click on them they bring up nothing 😦 I have managed to track them down from the “Previous Versions” option on the laptop which I shall likely have forgotten how to do next time, and tracked them down in a different folder which gives me access for now…but I have no idea where to find it again now!! Either way it’s a very time consuming and inconvenient process to go through just to find my past posts if I wish to repost or edit from Live Writer. All in all a disaster of Mansion dimensions!!

      Eek, Icewolf!
I’ve lost the tags in my version of Live Writer, but everything else seems to be there… hopefully it’ll not get struck by lightning again!
Hope you get sorted with your version soon – nothing worse than when software plays up!
