It’s All In The Mind

joggerLast night I had a dream.

An amazing, remarkable dream. One of those that left me with a Feel Good feeling all day long. I was buzzing inside, but in a comfortable way. I felt warm. Connected. Whole.

In my dream (which, in the way of most good dreams, most of it has gone from my memory) somebody spoke to me.

Before I say what they said, and I can remember that clearly, I shall tell you what I was doing. I can remember that clearly as well!

I was out jogging.

Me! Jogging! I can’t even step up a step without needing to lie down in a darkened room to regain my breath, but there I was, bold as brass and twice as large jogging along one of the main roads in town. And, I was doing it very well indeed!

It was along this road that a stranger approached. A rather good looking stranger too, I must add. And they looked at me and said: “Do you know, that you are the only person stopping yourself from doing whatever it is you really want to do.” They smiled and went on: “Of course you do. You stop yourself all the time.”

With that the stranger had vanished, although where, when and how I have no recollection.

But they got me thinking.

I do stop myself all the time.

I do it. No-one else.

And with that thought, the floodgates opened. Let yourself go a little (or a lot!), instead of dwelling or procrastinating or putting things off, jump right in! Take the plunge! Go for gold! Instead of saying “I can’t” and then struggle trying to find a good enough reason as to why I can’t, just say “I can” and do it.

And I think that’s why I’ve been left feeling on top of the world all day today. I think I really went for it in my dream. Although what ‘it’ was, I haven’t the slightest clue.

If a dream I can’t remember leaves me feeling this good, I have a really great inkling as to how I would feel should I allow myself to ‘go for it’ for real.

Living the dream has never before appeared more tempting!

Oh I hate to say it TL, but maybe your dream was also telling you it is time to exercise…The body wants you to know so you can avoid future issues if you just tend to yourself….Just a thought. Don’t ya love ah ha moments like that one you got? So cool….The message is so crystal clear and resonates so deeply….Glad you encountered that dream my friend. Now get out your jogging suit, or walking suit and have at it !!!! Have a happy day….VK

You are absolutely right, VK. I have so many double chins right now, they’re starting to blend with my shoulders.
The message was so clear, so vivid, it remained when the rest of the dream faded… apart from the feelings with it as well. And they feel so right, I just know what to do. And I will!
I’m off to jog! Hope you’re having a great day too.

Wow! Awesome! Your Mansion even sends you cool dreams and better still filled with important messages! Be wary of any that include hair gel though 😉 Dreams can do very strange things to hair and appearance of lol especially when you have to go in a particular bathroom 😉 lol 🙂

Ah, Icewolf. Hair gel was in the dream. Parts of it are starting to come back to me.
However, I need to remember more…

I have come scooting along here from the Andra site.
Your dream leads to interesting speculation – your subconscious getting bored with the predictability of your conscious, or some angelic guide administering a swift kick up your um-never-mind?
How do you figure out the dream you want to live, though? I’m sure it can’t be (ugh) running for the sake of running just to get there and back again? 🙂

Hi Col, good to see you via Andra! I still have to do my bit there – I will, soon!
There’s something going on subconsciously… don’t know what yet, but there is!
As for figuring out the dream… I have no idea. I once had a dream that I couldn’t sleep, which goes to show that my mind works in a very strange way indeed!
