Now, wouldn’t that be lovely?
Lazing around, doing ‘whatever’, ‘whenever’…
Unfortunately, at present, it’s a bit of the opposite in the realm of little old I, and in Blogland in particular, where the more familiar version of the quote ‘so much to do, so little time’ is oh so prevalent.
However, I must take some time out to write posts for my blog. And then, I must take some more time out to visit the other blogs that I follow.
I’m slowly getting there. I’m writing, so that’s half of this little ‘battle’ – for want of a better word. I must visit. I must comment. And I will. I will.
I have a list as long as my arm of new posts to read (It’s only been since Sunday, not even a week yet…!) but I know the posts I haven’t read. The follow thingy is really helpful in that regard. I also have a long list on my other arm, of new blogs that I have been recommended to visit, and I will get around to visiting them too. And then, I have a third list (how many arms do I have?) of subtle changes I want to make for this blog, rough ideas for future posts, and future headers to design.
I also have to work, sleep, eat, and move between those things seamlessly.
I am managing everything just fine, just not in the compact amount of time I have available.
So, I am still here. I am still posting (it may be drivel, but it’s still a post!) and I am still visiting. If I miss a few days posting, I’m probably reading. If I miss a few days reading, I’m probably posting. Or working. Or sleeping. Or eating. Or dreaming. Or zipping around the Universe somewhere. I still do that occasionally, but only when I really have the time.
Now, please excuse me as I have to get back to my whatevering… (as soon as I’ve added whatevering to my dictionary… I must have at least half a dozen words in there now!)
