So much to do… so little time…

This is a bit of a rushed post today… a very rushed post in fact!

Due to all of the times that I have tried to hold back time, and consequently found myself with ample time to get things done, lately things seem to have backfired.

This may be due to the hay fever, of course, and the drowsiness caused by both the ‘remedy’ and the lack of sleep due to the sniffling and sneezing, which in effect is a result of the changes in the weather, which, is another of those things I am attempting to control.

It may also be due to the fact that I have gotten so used to things seemingly just fitting together, that I wasn’t prepared for the time when time decided enough was enough.

It may also be down to my misplaced organisational skills. OK, I last saw my organisational skills on a Tuesday afternoon in 1981, so that isn’t really an excuse. And I can’t really blame things not fitting together either, considering that they started to do so so well, for that matter, and I still have the same number of ‘things’ now as I did then. And, how can I say time is to blame? Time doesn’t even really exist, only in our minds.

That points everything back firmly in my court. I have caused myself to find myself in this tiny corner with everything all around me, and everything needs doing right now! And, everything will be done. I’m just stretching the meaning of ‘now’ slightly. Well, more than slightly, but I don’t want to be over-dramatic.

Things will be back on track sometime over the next few days, of that I am certain. My inner control freak is taking charge of this situation, so that fills me with confidence. I hope my inner control freak isn’t Bernard in disguise (but I know that it isn’t in all honesty… Bernard is still out a-needle huntin’).

So, now that the introduction to the post is complete (you are still awake, yes?), I’ll type what it was that I actually meant to say.

I’ve managed to get a little behind with my blog visits, for which I apologise, and over the next few days I will be catching up and commenting here, there and everywhere. I hope my comments will make sense, and I actually add them to the correct post, but if not, I’ll sort that out over time too. See… time’s starting to run away from me again already!

I have managed to keep on top of the comments on this blog up until today, but may not be able to reply to comments for yesterday’s post until tomorrow. And any comments for today’s post will be replied to yester er tomorrow. Talk about the past and present meeting the future! And they still say that time travel can never exist. This last paragraph has been in virtually every plane of existence (time-wise) at the same time!

Thank you for using your time to comment on my posts, by the way. Please be aware that I am not ignoring you, and I really, really, appreciate you taking the time to comment.

I really must get these time control powers working. I’ll work on that when I get the time.

Until then, I must be away! So much to do… so little time. To infinity and beyond…! Well, later, anyway! Open-mouthed smile

You haven’t borrowed that thingumy bob from Hermione in Harry Potter have you Sr Aquatom? You know? the one which lets you bend time itself..and be in two places at once…(I have enough trouble being in one place at once never mind two, but that’s beside the point …funnily I suppose that would be me beside me? 😉 ) anywho. no problems about catching up, dinna fash yeself. (Um, …scoatish?) … I’m sure you can fit all the pieces of the jigsaw of time together with your admirable organisational skills. (1981 eh? a Tuesday?… not the second one in the month? no wonder then !!) . Um…That piece goes there… actually sometimes I try and force them together… ‘cos who’d notice methinks, then the scissors come into play ‘cos by half way through nothing looks right!! I hate jigsaws…. specially ones of sky… ..anyway. .. bye for now.. and take a deep breath, I find breathing helps as lack of it can cause…um.. . bye for now, xPenx

Pen, I think I did more than bend time yesterday… I think I may have broken it… shattered it into a thousand different pieces so it resembled the sky jigsaw. Luckily, I’ve managed to put it all back together again. If I’ve put some pieces back in the wrong order, I’m sure we’ll find out… in time!

haha – sometimes time does get the better of us, doesn’t Tom? i figure, no worries about getting behind on commenting, i think it happens to all of us sometimes and that is a-ok, it is good to learn a bit of patience with our blogfriends and good opportunity for understanding as well…of course, it is always nice to get comments and visits, but sometimes, yeah, the time thing…

It certainly does, Bex! I think I have an understanding with time now… when I want more of it, I can’t have it, but when I have nothing to do I can have as much time as I need. I will just have to think that I have nothing to do all of the time, and hey presto! time’s mine! 😀
But, yes, getting behind on commenting / reading is OK, but I would rather keep up to date with the goings on! I can only persevere!
