The other side of the coin

BroomLoving the reports I am hearing (and seeing) of people banding together with their brooms to help with clearing up after the recent unnecessary events. Loving it even more that the shops they are helping are also helping them by allowing them free access to their facilities!

Loving the images of some of the hoodlums not wanting to be filmed after their actions, as they leave court. Loving the fact that their full names and occupations are being disclosed too!

Loving the news reports of individuals being arrested due to the fact that they used social media sites to incite these events. Loving it even more that they used their own names to do so to help with their arrests!

I’m not one to gloat, but these are just some of the news stories I caught today that made me feel good. After the awful news stories of yesterday (and I still get the feeling that the news companies (some of them…) actually enjoyed what was happening…) things seem to have turned around.

I don’t want to say things are back to normal, as I don’t think it is (they are?) yet. I don’t want to say things have calmed down, because I don’t think they have, but I will say I am seeing a glimmer of goodness. Light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

I live quite close to a town centre, and last night I heard sirens wailing until at least midnight. Apparently, there were no incidents in the town despite the rumour mill working overtime, but the sirens must have been there as a deterrent. Seeing what was happening in other cities not too far away, and hearing that outside was very unnerving.

Like I said in my slightly negative post last night, I am grateful for the Law of Karma and the Law of Tenfold Return. Threefold Return is another option, but I hope the Universe uses the Tenfold Return option this time on those involved. I am always reluctant to say things like this as the Law is Law, and what I say / do / think will come back to me through Karma and/or to the power of three or five also, but I am aware of the Law. I hope the Universe understands that I am saying this for the benefit, for the good, of those who deserve good. Those who don’t… deserve what they get also.

OK?

OK.

Feel Good!

I much prefer this side of the coin!

its a really bad time tom its loads of kids and youths who have just run wild for too long but cameron and the government are a lot to blame too taking from working people and using the disabled as scapegoats for his cuts when you hear negatives from people who lead then it rubs off hopefully it will calm or none are safe without law hope your well tom sweet dreams xxjen

Things seem to be quietening down now, Jen, but I think we will be seeing some changes in the not too distant future. The thing is, will the changes make any difference? Thanks for commenting, Jen.

true enough Sir Aquatom, there are plenty out there up and down the country who are pulling together to tidy up after the thugs… and good to see that newspapers are printing all the photo’s etc… so they can’t hide … name and shame… Why don’t they make the thugs clean up, rebuild or do whatever’s needed? … just a thought…. anywho, rain stopped more play so lets see what the next few days bring and I think we all felt negative after all that went on, but hopefully it’s better news on the way. and yes, Karma will out, but in the meantime the Governments deciding in it’s long winded way what’s to be done.. Mayhap a branding iron on their butt cheeks?.. the ne’er do wells, not the G’vmnt.. although…….hm 😉 xPenx

Never mind their butts Lady Pen, their foreheads will be a better place! At least then they’ll have a reason to hide their mugs! I’m following a couple of police forces on Twitter and they are publishing the names, dates of births and addresses of those who have been convicted. I shouldn’t smile, but my naughty side is making me do it! 😉

Oh, Pen, just to mention one very important thing. My fascination with 1642 has just developed a new fact. Your comment above is comment number 1642 on my blog. Like it or not, you are involved in my quest now…

Perhaps your link provides a clue… maybe I need to search for seventeenth century Pens or Lady Ps, everything happens for a reason, you know!
