Oh, My Stats!!!

I have never been as popular as I have been in this year. According to my site stats, that is. I mean, we’ve only just arrived into February, and my stats are already fast approaching 55,000 views for this year, many from individual visitors.

My older posts are receiving 20+ views per day, which makes me chuckle. I didn’t even get that many views when I first posted.

I’m getting visits from all around the world, but with no likes and no comments. Which, is actually a good thing. Imagine having to read and reply to over 2,000 comments a day‽ I can’t even keep up with the comments from the seven fine people who follow my blog.

Either the stats machine is broken, my blog is attracting bots from every corner of the round world, I have thousands of very shy new visitors, or AI is using my posts to gleam information to give in its incorrect answers. I apologise if the latter is the case. It isn’t that my posts aren’t factual, it’s just they aren’t necessarily from our current time and space… some more than others.

I used to like looking at the stats every now and then. What’s happening now just shows how pointless they actually are.

I’m going to see if I can earn money from the views I get now. That will stop them!

Or propel me to become the world’s richest man. I won’t be complaining about that one, however.
