I was out walking this morning, and came across this particular herd who’d decided to stop their day-to-day cowing for a sip of water. I decided to take a quick photo on my mobilius phonius, not realising this particular lady was not only looking at the camera, she was smiling, and her name was Nancy! Very photogenic, if you ask me.
So much is in the timing … and it was on your side today. Enjoy your weekend!

We can learn a great deal from animals. I can hear Nancy saying “Have some fun”…We must not forget to smile and have fun even in the darkest of days. We owe that to ourselves…Thanks TL for sharing Nancy…VK 🙂

She has, Chris, hasn’t she? I don’t know why that seems so surprising, but it does… well, to me! 😊

I think she was, Icewolf. I have a friendly nature with animals that I think they like. A robin hopped up to me at the Lake today, so I gave him/her a little salute. A robin’s smile is even cuter than a cows! 🙂

What a great shot! And I like that she has a name – on most farms around here the poor cows are nothing but numbers.

Thanks, Diane. The other two that were with her had only numbers on their tags too… it is possible NANCY could just be a collection of letters, but I’m sure it’s her name! 🙂
