Faces. Portraits. People. I always struggle with them.
But I keep on trying! I had some left-over watercolour, so rather than throwing it away, I decided to use it and create this painting of an abstract man. No pencil outlines were drawn to begin with, I just sploshed the colour around and carried on until I was happy with the result. Does it really matter what an abstract painting looks like? I’m not sure, but I was happy with how this finished when I decided to stop.
Slightly unfinished, very rough, and probably out of proportion, but hey ho! It’s a watercolour abstract, from the realms of my imagination, and it passed a quick half-hour whilst I was doing it. For #WorldWatercolorMonth.
