Letters to the Universe… The Rushed Edition!

Dear Tufty,
Good to see you on the Lake again today, and what a pleasure it was to see Mrs Tufty with you! I did try to take some photos of you both together, but you seemed a little coy! Will we be seeing a hatch of Master and Miss Tuftys with you shortly? Iโ€™ll keep my camera handy.

Dear Machu Picchu,
You do look like a fascinating place, and one I hope to be able to visit one day. Until I get there, I will always enjoy the snippets I see of you when you crop up from time to time around here.

Dear Certain People In Charge,
Please stop whining and just get on with your tasks in hand. You really arenโ€™t sending out confident, positive messages when you constantly moan, and you arenโ€™t doing yourselves any favours either.

Dear The Colour Blue,
Such a wonderful shade you are, and I find it most unbecoming to link you to feeling a little glum. That mood is more suited to be described as โ€˜greyโ€™, but then that is doing the same disservice to the colour grey.

Dear The Colour Grey,
I apologise for comparing thee to a foul mood.

Dear Rhubarb And Custard,
What a delight you are together! Hot or cold you are cโ€™est magnifique!

Dear Spell-Checker,
I was writing a couple of words in the French language a moment ago, so there was no need for you underline the words for me. Although your suggestion of โ€˜chest magnifiedโ€™ may be quite fitting if copious amounts of rhubarb and custard were to be consumed.

Dear Nose,
Will you please heal so that you donโ€™t bleed every time I have to blow you? During hay fever season itโ€™s like a never ending battle with something or other running out of youโ€ฆ

Dear Bodily Functions,
There really is no nice and pleasant way to describe you, is there? Everything sounds gross, but you do have your jobs to do, so Iโ€™ll leave things there.

Dear Three-Ply Tissues,
Thank goodness for small mercies!

And to finishโ€ฆ Dear All,
Feel Good, and remember miracles happen every day. Just let the rhythm of your heartbeat remind you that itโ€™s a miracle in itself simply being here. Live life and enjoy it!

Thank you for reading!

P.S. Hereโ€™s a photograph of the colour blue to finish. Just because:

Well, itโ€™s quite a cheerful colour really, isnโ€™t it? Just to be sure.

I have nasal issues too Tom! ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine are a hangover from dad breaking my nose when I was a kid, but it is healing much better these days! ๐Ÿ™‚

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

      Ouch!
My nose just started bleeding a few years ago, from a cut that won’t heal. Well, it is healing, but very slowly.
I think this may be the week, Prenin!

I’m not a blue (color) person but have always thought that’ microsoft ‘blue was really out there. Green is my go to color ,but even then you can’t have green with out blue.

    Dearest Tom.
I’m still loving these Friday letters. Please let them be there for the end of the week, for ever and ever, amen.

Regarding the colour blue … aw I think it’s a truly beautiful colour – be it an ice blue through to a deep midnight blue, and ever colour in-between. Blue is blue is blue … but every blue is special and needs to ‘be’.

Sending weekend squidges ~ Cobs. x

      Thank you once again, Cobs.
And yes, I am planning to continue with these posts, even during my break (if I’m away for any length of time – I have to keep some kind of connection to Blogland!)
Ice blue is such a cool colour!

doing the happy dance (don’t be impressed, it’s not an attractive site).

I’m so thrilled to hear that. I worry about bloggers who need to escape …. but then don’t come back. And they always seem to be among my favourite bloggers. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s me which is putting them off blogging! eeeek!
        (I’m such a worry wart). C. xxx

      Always here to serve, Icewolf.
Well, when I say always, I mean apart from when I’m on a break, which I am now, although I’m replying to comments.
Mostly always here to serve, Icewolf.
