Welcoming the Sunset

Another quick digital snowman. This time, I’ve painted the snowman onto a photograph of the sky taken on Sunday (11th December) evening, at around 4pm. Absolutely stunning colours; since Autumn gradually faded away a week or two ago, nature is now finding different ways to provide her remarkable displays. The sparkles, like the snowman, were added after. And no, it wasn’t snowing!!!

      Thanks, Hélène. When I saw the sky, I had to photograph it, and then use it in one of these pictures! And yes, I think the yellow scarf works nicely…

          I use Photoshop Elements for things like this, it was a free gift with some other software I bought – I’m leaning towards my pen and tablet but I can’t exactly remember what.
