Concealed within is a second message
So bless you for sticking with me
Norm, it seems is everywhere
Locked in fun or misery
Red-faced from a race
Or blue from the cold
Popularity grabbed by the masses
Burning questions
Stump or flow
Depending on the answers
Norm wants change
Or so it seems, so puts it to a vote
But with change Norm isn’t Norm
It’s the differences to note

  1. A nice paradox – Norm wants change, but with change isn’t the same Norm. I like it a lot!

    1. Thanks, Uttley. So with change, Norm is never really the norm! 😀

      1. Know who often raises issues which knock the norm for a loop? The fool. The jester. That trickster is forever making us reevaluate what ‘normal’ means!

  3. Interesting, Norm changes all the time and is never the same, and then depending on his/ hers perspective, what is Norm never is norm.

    1. But just ‘coz they’re doing it, is it really the norm? You can go round and round with what’s normal… maybe that’s the norm, Prenin! 😀

  6. Great couple of hounds … pair o’ dogs! A quirky mind direction.

And if Norm changes to Norman Albert, he would still be Norm Al?

  7. Good one. I did have to read it twice, but only because the brain is a little tired. It’s like “The only constant is change”.

  8. Norm is being acceptable. As long as it is, then it is considered within the norm!
