Knickerbocker Glory!

#WorldWatercolorMonth Day Twentytwo

Scrumptious vanilla and banana ice cream, blended to perfection with fresh cream, layered in a lopsided glass with strawberry, black cherry and passion fruit sauces, sprinkled on top with one or two crumbled biscuit pieces and a cherry and a chunk of pineapple to top it off. Looks appalling… but looks aren’t everything. It’s what’s inside that matters.

Looks awesome on the outside too. But you are right it is what is in the inside that matters. Your heart and soul that painted it 😉

Aw, thanks, Jodi! (I hope it is a knickerbocker glory I’ve painted and not just a random dessert…!) 🙂

Since I have no clue what a knickerbocker glory is – I’ll say it is LOL!

Thanks, Jodi. I’m pleased you’ve confirmed it for me. I found the picture online, painted it, and then had that horror feeling that I’d painted a pineapple upside down cake (or something) … as you do – well, I do!

Actually it looks kind of pop art and cool the way you’re rendered it! I love it!! 👍🏻😃

We used to get these at Burger Inn when Ali ran the place (I used to give his kids games and was close friends with Ali and his wife!) so when I took the kids I looked after out for a treat Guess what they ordered!!! 😛

Poor Fay insisted she wanted a burger, fries and a KBG so I said she could have them if she finished them – she threw up when we got outside, but it was a good lesson! 🙂

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

Eyes bigger than belly, Prenin. Unfortunately, that was one lesson I never learned… and now I have really big eyes!!!

I’d think they are pretty easy to make, Diane… although with my culinary skills not for me! 😀

A delicious painting, Tom. In my younger days, I owned a pair of red knickerbockers trimmed with black lace. One couldn’t eat them, though. 🙂

They’d probably taste a little man made if you could as well, Sylvia! And thank you! 😀

YUMMY …. a treat for us to enjoy. 🍧
The watercolor does look a little pop-art-ish as Charles has said.
    Nicely done …. 😎
