Wordle: New Day

With its reflection shimmering over the horizon,
The sunrise is underway
Every ripple, every wave painted
Red and gold and yellow and white
And darker shadows emphasize the sight
Colours similar to those when a volcano erupts
Only calm replaces the fury
And the cool morning chill replaces the boiling temperatures
As the lava sweeps forwards like an irreversible swarm
Consuming everything in its path
Crowing as it engulfs everything in view
Never parking for a second.
The sun is risen now.
A new day has begun.

Dawn mostly welcome is sometimes less so where the never ending days of scorching heat is the norm. Then sighs greet another day hiding in the shadows with the air conditioner hoping for a break in the weather. Sounds a bit like an Australian summer!

Ah, yes, Oldegg, a nice dawn before a nice day is much more appropriate! Too hot and it’s something of a waste of a nice dawn.

A new day arises not only when we can see the physical changes but also perhaps when we can feel we are given a new day to try and try again

Indeed, Jae. A new start doesn’t necessarily need to start in the morning!
