Silly Limericks: The April Edition

October was the last time
When I wrote a limerick rhyme
So I think it’s best
For a change and a rest
For another, if it’s not a crime!

As limericks go these are rubbish
And they shouldn’t really be published
But as it’s my blog
And my head’s in a fog
I’ll write them and then feel goodish!

We’re now in the middle of April
So I’ll set my cards out on the table
These limericks don’t work
Though they may raise a smirk
Especially as they aren’t particularly graceful!

    Haiku-ically speaking TL,
Perhaps one tries on old clothes in preparation for getting new ones…
Then what does one do with their life?
    Live bold and change often
🙂 VK [ knock your socks off my friend!

I always like to do something a little different, VK… even though I tend to revisit he past quite a lot when doing so!

I LOVE your limericks, Tom! Thanks for the giggles – limericks are my favourite type of poetry. 🙂

Thanks, Diane. I find limericks easier to write for some reason.

Of limericks I find that I’m able
To make them up in October and April
    At all other times
When I need to make rhymes
    My mind is totally incapable
