White Rabbits for March!
As well as being March 1st today, it’s also St David’s Day, St David being the patron Saint of Wales.
Eagle-eyed readers may have spotted in my post from yesterday a little image featuring the fact that I had made, up to that point, 1,601 posts in total. It’s slightly higher now, and I’m not really going to harp on about that any longer (for now at least!) apart from mentioning this little chronological coincidence that I’ve just discovered, which couldn’t really have occurred at a better time. Legend has it that St David died in the year 601.
See? 601 / 1601… even St David is pushing me on on my personal aim to reach 2,000 posts by December 31st 2016.
Erm… it gets spookier. March 1st is the 60th day of the year, and the 61st day in a leap year, which this year is.
That’s a lot of ones, ohs and sixes don’t you think? And it’s 2016. How could I forget that? It isn’t as though I’ve planned any of this.
Very random coincidences aside, I’m hoping that the remaining posts for this year are slightly more interesting than this one.
We shall see! In the words of Giuseppe Garibaldi:
We shall meet again before long to march to new triumphs.
On to March two. Such fun… such fun!
