He sat, alone, at the bar.
She walked in, with a couple of friends, oblivious.
He watched as she tripped over the carpet.
She smiled at her friends and carried on regardless.
He admired her pose.
She carefully glanced around the room.
He looked at the clock, ready to go home.
She sat beside him, looking over her shoulder, toward her friends.
He noticed a sparkle in her eyes.
She noticed him looking.
He said “Hi.”, he said “you’re new here.”
She said “Plink quing fulp pwarp zazza dome ulp.”
He knew that beginnings weren’t necessarily going to be easy.
